Welcome to the new website for the Big Lake Fire Department. We are an all volunteer department in beautiful Skagit County, Washington. Currently we have about 30 volunteers and cover approx. 21 square miles of area. The population of this area is approx. 5,000 residents and we have 3 fire stations. Our annual call volumes run a little over 200. The site has more features coming soon so feel free to explore what's here and continue checking back to see what is new! Thanks for visiting.

2012 BIG LAKE FIREWORKS SHOW

For the last 48 years the fireworks show over Big Lake has been a very popular community event that has attracted huge crowds. Every year an estimated 40,000 people view the display. Over the years the proceeds from the fireworks show have gone to upgrade fire fighting equipment, provide training and overall support for the Big Lake Fire Department.
